What does it cost to attend Fear – The Art of Selling?

Your investment for the full programme of eight (8) 1/2 day units, Fear – The Art of Selling ® is $2,395.00 Ex. GST per participant excluding any Earlybird or Group discounts. All training material including Participant Notes & Workbooks is provided.

Are there any discounts for paying my registration fees in advance?

Yes, a 10% Earlybird discount off the full programme fee is applicable by choosing to pay by credit card (only) and booking three (3) or more weeks prior to your chosen workshop’s commencement date.

Are there any discounts for group bookings?

Yes, a 10% discount off the full programme fee is applicable for group bookings of six (6) or more participants. This discount is in addition to the Earlybird discount for choosing to pay by credit card (only) and booking three (3) or more weeks prior to your chosen workshop’s commencement date.

Can I arrange to be invoiced?

Yes, however for a participant’s registration to be valid, Deakon must receive payment in full prior to your chosen workshop’s commencement date.

Where are the training venues located?

Deakon use a number of different venues in Melbourne, Sydney & Brisbane to conduct Public Access Workshops which are all located within 5 km of the CBD of the related capital city.

Participants are advised a minimum of two (2) week prior to the commencement of the workshop with specific venue and parking details.

What happens if I need to cancel or postpone my booking?

Deakon understands that circumstances may arise requiring a registrant to cancel and/or wish to reschedule his or her workshop registration. If a cancellation request is made at least twenty-one (21) days before the workshop commencement date, a full refund will be given and within three weeks or less, but more than one week, a cancellation penalty of 50% of the full registration fee will apply.

Unfortunately, if the registration is cancelled less than 7 days before the workshop commencement date, no refund will be given. Under no circumstances shall a full or partial refund be given once a workshop has commenced.

A registrant may also either reschedule his or her workshop registration, or send a workshop substitute to the originally scheduled workshop with prior written notice to Deakon. If a workshop registrant is a “no show” on the day of the workshop, Deakon will not honour any requests to reschedule the registration.

Deakon will make every effort not to cancel or postpone any workshops, however if cancellation or postponement is necessary for any reason, registrants will be notified no less than 7 days prior to the workshop commencement date by phone, facsimile or email. Registrants may choose either to apply their registration fee to a future workshop or request a full refund.

All workshop cancellations must be made in writing and sent to Deakon Pty Ltd. Level 23 HWT Tower, 40 City Road Southgate, Victoria 3006, faxed to (03) 9372 8355 or emailed to results@deakon.com.au

Deakon is not responsible for travel or any other expenses incurred by registrants in the event of a cancellation.

Who will be delivering the training?

Fear – The Art of Selling is delivered by senior Business Development Managers, each with over 15 years of experience and recognized as experts in their field.

What is the minimum number of participants required for an on-site Corporate Workshop?

A minimum of ten (10) participants per venue is required to conduct a Corporate Workshop and a period of four weeks notice to customize any aspects of the programme.

What are the advantages of Public Access Workshops?

There are many advantages to attending a public access workshop including cost effective for individuals and small groups, network with salespeople from different organisations, minimum impact on selling time and flexibility in scheduling.

What happens if I miss one of the Public Access Workshop training units?

If for some reason you are not able to attend one of the units, Deakon will make every possible effort to reschedule your attendance in a later course. Due to the nature of the course which leverages off exercises completed in previous units, it is important to attend all classes to maximise your learning experience and to avoid any disruption to other members of the group.

How many participants are there in a workshop?

Class sizes are limited to small groups of 12-16 participants to maximise the learning experience and encourage equal participation by everyone attending the programme.

Is the course suitable for internal salespeople and support staff?

Yes, we have found that the greatest transformation in a sales team occurs when an entire department including support staff and management are also involved at the same time.

Involving an entire department is an excellent approach to ensure a deep and rapid impact within the organization. Every member of the team develops a synergy, new vocabulary and frame of reference to facilitate increased efficiency.

Do I need any previous sales experience to attend the workshops?

No, although Fear – The Art of Selling has been designed for Sales Professionals, anyone looking to learn about sales or improve their skills will gain a great deal from the course. Ex executives who are starting up their own small consulting businesses and need to develop their selling skills in order to succeed are especially well suited.
